Are all your products Made in the USA?

While the majority of our products are manufactured in Winona, MN, we do have partnerships with suppliers in both China and Mexico. All items, however, are concepted, developed, and distributed in Winona, MN.

What is your shipping policy?

Once I place my order, how long before it gets shipped?

Purchased items are typically shipped within five to seven business days after your order has been received.

After my order is shipped, how long before it is delivered?

Most orders are shipped via UPS however some are shipped via USPS, mostly smaller packages. Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for your delivery to arrive. If you still have not received your purchase after 3 weeks, please notify customerservice@behrensmfg.com.

What if I need to change or correct my order?

We do our best to accommodate changes or corrections to orders, however it is not always possible to intercept an order already in process. Please email or call within 30 minutes of placing an order during customer service hours of 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday (CST) and we will do our best to assist you.

Do you offer volume discounts?

Please contact customer service for further details if you are ordering over 1,000 units of any one item at customerservice@behrensmfg.com.

Do you have minimums with your orders?

If you are a wholesale retailer, minimum order is $500. Minimum buy multiples may apply.

Is there a guarantee or warranty on Behrens products?

Producing goods of the finest quality material and workmanship has been the cornerstone of our company since 1911. Your complete satisfaction is very important to us. Should you encounter any defects in material or workmanship with your purchase, we will be more than happy to replace it. See our return policy.

What is your Return policy?

Orders may be returned for a full refund within 30 days of shipment, provided that the condition of the item returned is consistent with the condition originally shipped and received upon purchase.

Proof of purchase, including your original order number, is required for all returns. We will credit your original method of payment for the merchandise purchase price. To generate a return label, visit our return label portal 24 hours a day or contact customer service through email at customerservice@behrensmfg.com or phone at 1-800-657-4939 to request one.

Purchases from retail store locations cannot be returned or exchanged. Please return your Behrens products to the retailer in which you purchased.

What is the difference between Metalware Classics and Home Industrials?

Metalware Classics are tried and true and have stood the test of time. Home Industrials feature current trends and more decorative applications.

Can I pick up my order at the factory?

Do you offer tours of your factory?

Due to Covid-19 protocols in place, we do not offer factory tours.

How do I clean galvanized steel product?

Items can be simply cleaned with warm soap and water.

The Galvanized Process:

The galvanization process provides protection from rust and corrosion along
with waterproof properties.

  • Hot Dipped Items
    • After the item is constructed, it is dipped in a bath of hot molten
      zinc to coat and seal the product. The zinc coating provides a
      watertight seal and a textured rustic finish.
  • Galvanized Sheet Items
    • Coils of sheet steel are galvanized at the mill. After the item is
      constructed, seams are sealed to provide a watertight seal and
      feature a smooth, shinier finish.
How can I recycle Behrens products?

Behrens products are 100% recyclable. When metal products reach the end of their useful life, the materials are simply collected and recycled, again and
again, with no loss of their inherent properties. Please visit “Find a metal recycler near you” page.

What is a bushel (size)?

A bushel is a dry measure and is equivalent to approximately 4 pecks (US) or 9.3 US gallons.

What if a part is missing from my order?
Do you offer repairs or replacement parts?

No, Behrens does not offer repair services or replacement parts.
